At June 19th's school board work meeting on the future school bond and review of school facilities, the board decided to keep the elementary configuration as is: K-3 schools in Driggs, Tetonia & Victor, and the 4-5 Rendezvous in Driggs.
The board reviewed a financial presentation by the bond consultant, along with a review of the survey results on elementary configuration and size, research related to configuration, and a financial projection of the bond for those projects.
They unanimously agree on the need at the elementary level for schools and facilities and will continue to review that information and will discuss this further at the July 10 regular board meeting and the July 17 special work meeting focusing on the bond and facilities. The deadline to make a decision on the bond is Aug. 30, as it has to be submitted to the county by September 8, to run the bond election on the November 7general election.
I've attached the presentations that were reviewed on the night of June 19th.
