Teton School District 401 is working hard to deliver excellent education. Unfortunately, our buildings are starting to hold us back. While all of our schools regularly pass their annual safety inspections, our elementary school buildings are all between 58 and 75 years old, and they are running at or near capacity. In addition, these older buildings were not designed for modern educational needs.
The state of Idaho does not fund the construction or renovation of school buildings. The local community bears the burden of infrastructure costs through levies and bonds.
Below you'll find snapshots of the primary issues at each of our elementary schools. Please note that all enrollment and capacity numbers are as of January 2017 and are subject to change.
